Premier Cru is a celebration of world-renowned, sustainably-grown Murcian citrus fruits. Murcian Fino lemons, mandarins and sweet Navel oranges of exceptional quality are hand-picked and hand-peeled from the late harvest, when their aromas and flavours are at  their most intense.

Our Master of Botanicals, Ivano Tonutti collaborates closely with these suppliers and artisanal farmers, supporting their traditional, sustainable methods to grow the finest quality ingredients.

The expertise of our Master of Botanicals and Master Distiller combine to create a spirit that celebrates the bright citrus notes of our iconic signature BOMBAY SAPPHIRE gin, capturing the fresh and aromatic flavours of world-renowned Murcian citrus.

Aroma
Nose: Bold and elegant - a refreshing, zingy citrus nose with soft juniper & peppery spice undertones.
Palate: Rich and oily with bright lemon and rounded orange notes, nicely balanced allowing all the remaining BOMBAY SAPPHIRE botanicals to shine through.
Finish: Long, smooth and complex, crisp citrus gives way to pithy peel and warm spice.

Taste:
The Murcian citrus flavours are rich and oily, balanced by the higher alcohol levels which help the gin sing. The lemon and orange notes come through with vigour, fading slowly to reveal a well-rounded gin that allows all the botanicals to shine. Recognisably BOMBAY SAPPHIRE but with an added dimension that elevates the gin to something very special and distinct.

Finish:
The higher alcohol levels deliver a bold array of citrus oils, presenting a finish which complex, long and smooth. Fresh, rounded citrus gives way to pithy peel and warm spice that lingers to the next sip.
